Recent Ritz Carlton Review: "We got a fabulous rate for the Ritz-Carlton that included free American breakfast everyday (approximately a $50 value every day) and a merchandise/food and beverage credit. The service was phenomenal. I emailed a few days before we arrived to let them know that we were taking the trip to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversay and requested a nice room with a view and anything else they could do to make our stay more romantic. In response, I got a telephone call from the manager of the hotel, who assured me we would be taken care of. We were given a really nice room with a view of the courtyard and the beautiful Christmas tree they had set up. The hotel sent up a bottle of champagne and chocolates the first night. Later in our stay they sent us a gift bag with a number of items, including a CD with Cajun-inspired Christmas music and a large glass New Orleans paperweight. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful (which is hard to find these days)."
